3 Month First Offender Program

30.75 hours combining alcohol and drug education, group process, alcohol and drug assessment and face-to- face interviews. Classes meet weekly for approximately two hours per session. This program meets the requirements for a conviction of a first offense Driving Under the Influence with an alcohol level from .08 to .19. The following situations may be on record with the DMV which may conflict with the court order. Please verify with the California DMV the exact program completion required for reinstatement of your driving privileges.

  1. Out of state DUI's
  2. DUI programs not completed for arrests more than ten years ago
  3. DUI's not yet sentenced
  4. Out of county DUI's

Orientation

Before receiving services, an orientation is attended to explain the rules and requirements, assess program fees and determine method of payment.  A proof of enrollment, DMV form DL107, is electronically submitted directly to the DMV on the day of enrollment. Written notice of all activities, schedules, times and locations are given to each client at the orientation.

 A down payment of $200 and one of the following forms of documentation must be brought  with you to the orientation:

  * Court order or court referral if you are on probation or;

   *DMV H-6 in-house printout for older convictions no longer on probation or;

    *Arrested not yet convicted clients must determine the alcohol level at the time of arrest and  bring either the pink temporary license or DMV suspension letter. Alcohol levels can often be obtained from the arresting agency, the DA's office or the DMV.
